"EL GRAN VIAJE AL PAÍS PEQUEÑO" LATITUD AWARD AT DOCSBARCELONA

This year’s edition of the DocsBarcelona film festival has taken place under the Coronovirus lockdown emergency measures; in spite of which it has registered its biggest audience ever: 130000 spectators from all the regions of Spain.
This year, DocsBarcelona’s Latitud Award has been given to Mariana Viñoles’s “El Gran Viaje al País Pequeño”. The Award, given to the Best Documentary presented in the Latitud section consists of 3000€ worth of post-production work (finishing, conforming, colour grading, sound, DCP copies) on the director’s next feature. Cosima Dannoritzer, Teresa Font and Eulàlia Iglesias have been the Jury for this year’s edition of the Latitud Section.
In the industry section the Best Pitch Award to the Best project by the audience has been given to “Science Fiction” by Francisco Forbes, Matthew Barton and Ferran Romeu. The prize consists of 3000€ worth of finishing and postproduction work.
