"LAS NIÑAS" AT BERLINALE
Pilar Palomero’s first feature has been entirely post produced at Antaviana Films
Pilar Palomero’s first feature “Las Niñas”, produced by Inicia Films (“Estiu 1993”) and Bteam Pictures has been selected for competition at the prestigious Berlinale in Generation KPlus section, which will take place between the 20th February and1st March 2020. Palomero’s film will therefore have its international premiere at this Class A film festival.
“Las Niñas” takes place in the year 1992; it tells the story of Celia, an 11 year-old girl who’s a student in a catholic school in Zaragoza. The arrival of a new student will thrust her into a new phase in her life where she’ll come to terms with the incoherencies of adult life.
Starring Andrea Fandos and Natalia de Molina, the film shall compete with productions from the US, Argentina, Perú, the Netherlands, Iran, Switzerland, Denmark, Brazil and India.
