"LA HIJA OF UN LADRÓN" SELECTED FOR THE SAN SEBASTIAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
The San Sebastian International Film Festival announces its competition titles and Belén Funes’s first feature, post produced at Antaviana Films, is amongst them
Belén Funes’s first feature, "La Hija de un Ladrón", produced by Oberón Cinematográfica and post produced at Antaviana Films will have its international première at the prestigious San Sebastian International Film Festival which will take place this year between the 20th and the 28th of September.
The film is a sequel of Belén Funes’s short film "Sara a la fuga" and tells the story of Sara, a 22 year-old who wants to begin a new life with her small brother and the father of her son. However, her own father’s release from prison makes things not as simple as they seem.
The film is stars Greta and Eduard Fernández, father and daughter in fiction and also in real life.
