Laura Jou's first film "La Vida sense la Sra Amat” is now in commercial cinemas all over the country. The story is based on the novel by Pep Puig with the same title and published in 2015 by Proa, winner of the prestigious Sant Jordi Literary Award.
"La Vida sense la Sra Amat” tells the story of a teenager who finds his friend Sara Amat hiding in his bedroom: Sara has ran away from home. Keeping her hidden and protecting her like this, he becomes his accomplice and has to live with the lies.
The film is produced by Massa D’Or Produccions and the Network of Local Communication and can see in cinemas in Barcelona, Madrid, Arenys of Mar, Sant Cugat. Sabadell, Cornellà, Figueres, Girona, Granollers, Igualada, Lleida, Manresa, Olot, Palma of Mallorca, Tarragona, Tàrrega, Terrace, Vic. Valls and Santander.
