“La Vida Lliure”, “Petitet” and “Jean François i el sentit de la Vida” nominated for the 11th edition of the Gaudí Awards of the Catalan Film Academy
This last 11th December nominations for the 11th edition of the Gaudí Awards have been made public. The gala, which will take place on the 27th January 2019 at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in Barcelona, will be directed for the third year in a row by Lluís Danès and presented by Mag Lari.
Three productions in which Antaviana Films has collaborated have received a sum total of 5 nominations in the 22 different award categories of Catalan cinema. Marc Recha’s “La Vida Lliure” has been nominated for Best Actor thanks to Sergi López’s work. “Jean François i el sentit de la vida” directed by Sergi Portabella has been nominated for Best Movie and Best Original Soundtrack thanks to the score composed by Gerard Pastor. Also nominated for Best Original Soundtrack is Josep Sanou’s score for Carles Bosch’s documentary “Petitet”; this production is also nominated for Best Documentary Feature.
