One of Antaviana Films’ star productions keeps on gathering awards. Catalan filmmaker Marc Recha’s latest production “La Vida Lliure” has received the VIIIth Award of the San Sebastian-Gipuzcoa Film Commission during the San Sebastian International Film Festival. This award is a distinction for the production effort made in heightening the natural, urban, social and cultural values of any given city or territory during the shooting and making of any given production.
“La Vida Lliure”, shoot in the natural landscapes of the island of Menorca, tells a story from the end of the First World War as seen through the eyes of a little girl, the conflict between the harsh realities of the fight for survival and a yearning for freedom in a time ridden with famine, contraband and a flu epidemic.
