“La Vida Lliure” i “La Higuera de los Bastardos” at the festival from the 26th until the 30th September
Films post-produced at Antaviana Films are always on the move. Running from the 26th until the 30th September, the London Spanish Film Festival has selected two films which have been processed at our Barcelona headquarters.
On the 27th September, Ana Murugarren’s “La Higuera de los Bastardos” will be shown at the Cinema Lumière. The film tells the story of a fascist who meets the son of one of his victims and is convinced that when he’ll grow up he’ll want to kill him.
On the other hand, on the 28th September Marc Recha’s “La Vida Lliure” will also be shown preceded by Menorcan Anna Petrus’s short film “Bohèmia”. “La Vida Lliure” takes place in Menorca after the First World War. As perceived through the eyes of a young girl, it tells the story of the human conflict as the protagonists are torn between the obligation to fight for their survival and their longing for freedom in times of hunger, smuggling and a flu epidemic.
