Productions in which Antaviana Films has taken part gather a sum total of 30 Awards so far this year
2018 certainly is being a very good year for productions in which Antaviana Films has been involved. Films post-produced by us have received a sum total of 30 awards up until today.
At the Catalan Gaudí Awards, Isabel Coixet’s “The Bookshop”, Agustí Villaronga’s “Incerta Glòria”, Carla Simón’s “Estiu 1993” and Laura Ferrés’s “Los Desheredados” all gathered a sum total of 15 Awards. Amongst them the Best Visual Effects Awards for the work of Bernat Aragonés and Manuel López Egea in “Incerta Glòria”.
The Spanish Goya Awards left 8 statuettes for “The Bookshop”, “Estiu 1993”, “Una Mujer Fantástica” and “Los Desheredados”.
Recently, Carles Bosch’s documentary “Petitet” received the Audience Award at the DocsBarcelona Festival whilst it was also recognised with the Best Documentary Award and, again, the Audience Award, at Fic-Cat, the International Film Festival of Films in Catlan of the Costa Daurada.
Fic-Cat has also awarded other films post-produced at Antaviana: Sergi Portabella’s “Jean-François i el sentit de la vida” received the Best Exterior Locations Award, whilst Marc Recha’s “La Vida Lliure”] was awarded Best Picture.
