Cristóbal Valenzuela’s documentary wins this award sponsored by Antaviana Films
For the third consecutive year Antaviana Films has sponsored the Latitud Award at the DocsBarcelona International Film Festival. In its 21st edition the festival has had 66 projections on top of a month of on-line projections reaching out to a 20.000 large audience, which means an average of 133 people per session.
The Award in the Latitud section consisting of Iberian and Latina American films is a 5.000€ postproduction work worth for the next film of by the winning director. This year the Award has gone to “Robar a Rodin” by Cristóbal Valenzuela which chronicles the adventure of the French sculptor’s hectic exhibition in Chile; a stroy “stranger than fiction and which increases gradually the audience’s curiosity thanks to a narrative full of twists and surprises”, according to the Jury’s won words. Members of this year’s Jury were Sumpta Ayuso, Anna Rebé and Oriol Font.
DocsBarcelona 2018 took place between 16th and 27th may.
