Marc Recha's new feature, postproduced at Antaviana Films, will compete at the prestigious estonian international film festival
The latest film feature by Catalan filmmaker Marc Recha will open internationally at the prestigious Tallin Black Nights Film Festival, one of the few A Class European Film Festivals to take place at the Estonian capital city from the 17th November until December 3rd 2017.
Recha’s new film has been post-produced at Antaviana Films and produced by Turkana Films and La Perifèrica Produccions. The film is set on the island of Menorca at the time of the 1st World War and tells the story of two kids, Tina and Biel, whose mother has been forced to emigrate to Algiers due to lack of work on the island and the flu epidemic which is also chastising it.
The production stars Sergi López and newcomers Mariona Gomila and Macià Arguimbau.
