Agustí Villaronga's films gets three nominations at the Goya Awards
After its success at the San Sebastian Film Festival this year, Agustí Villalonga’s feature is again on a winning spree. It’s been nominated 3 times for the Goya Awards: best adapted script, best revelation actress (Yordanla Ariosa, who got the Concha de Plata Awards for Best Actress at San Sebastian) and Best Cinematography. Sound and picture postproduction has been the responsibility of Antaviana Films. These have included conformation, colour correction, sound design, DCP masters and distribution masters; and 30 digital effects shots designed to frame the actual film locations as La Havana in the 1990’s, using matte painting techniques and generating atmospheric elements.
